Mastering the fundamentals of Firefighting

At MEDCO, preparedness is a habit our MEDCOers build together.

On July 1st, a group of MEDCOers took part in a fire safety and evacuation training, among them our designated employee HSE representatives who serve as safety points of contact across our floors and sites.

The session opened with the fundamentals: the three elements that make fire possible: fuel, heat and oxygen and how understanding this "fire triangle" is the first step to preventing and controlling it. From there, participants moved to hands-on drills, putting that knowledge into action with real firefighting and evacuation techniques.

The goal was simple but essential: readiness. Knowing how to identify risks early, respond calmly and act correctly in the critical first moments of an emergency, skills that follow our people beyond the office, into their homes and anywhere life takes them.

This training is part of MEDCO's broader commitment to occupational health and safety under our ISO 45001–aligned management system and to a workplace culture where safety is shared, understood and practiced by all.
A sincere thank-you to everyone who participated with focus and energy.

Preparedness is a collective effort and every session brings us closer to a safer world.
