Gibran Khalil Gibran Day at MEDCO
As a celebration of Gibran Khalil Gibran Day, MEDCO is proud to highlight a meaningful cultural initiative in collaboration with the Gibran National Committee.
Over the past few months, students from many different schools across Lebanon visited the Gibran Museum in Bsharri, immersing themselves in the life and legacy of one of Lebanon’s greatest thinkers and artists.
The trip left a lasting impression on the students as they explored the life and legacy of Gibran Khalil Gibran up close, discovering his original paintings, manuscripts, and personal belongings. The visit ended on a touching note at the small room known as the Hermitage, where Gibran Khalil Gibran is laid to rest.
As part of our ongoing commitment to education and culture, MEDCO covered both the fuel for transportation and the entrance fees for all participating students. Through this initiative, we aim to give students across Lebanon the opportunity to connect with Gibran’s inspiring legacy, nurturing future generations while keeping our rich Lebanese heritage alive.
We are excited for the journey ahead, and look forward to more students being welcomed at the Gibran Museum as this cultural adventure unfolds.
